Dubai Airports is the managing body controlling two major airports. Each of these have numerous sub-brands within their structures. A combination of traditional cultural graphic elements provided the opportunity to reflect the idea of the airport’s location being at the crossroads of the world, reinforcing Dubai’s central geographical location as an ideal hub for international travel.

Drawing inspiration from mosaic language of the region, kaleidoscopic images were created using existing airport photographs which found a new form and provided a platform of visual elements for the communication system.

Colour-coded variations of the symbolic language allowed each area of operation to be individually identified within the business and brand structure.
